Saipan is a tropical island in the Western Pacific Ocean with private beaches, blue lagoons and the worlds most equable temperatures averaging 81 degrees year round. Saipan is 23 km (14 mi) long and 8 km (5 mi) wide. On a map, you can find Saipan south of Japan and east of the Philippines, about 120 miles north of Guam. The Islands highest point Mt. Tapochau is 1,554 ft above sea level. Saipan has a population of around 50,000.
Enjoying Saipan’s blue lagoons, white sandy beaches and the overall stress free life, its no wonder so many have made Saipan their home. Water sports such as fishing, scuba diving, parasailing, windsurfing, kit boarding and snorkeling are just a few to enjoy daily. Saipan has 5 golf courses most of them right on the cliffs with spectacular views of the island. Hiking enthusiasts can enjoy numerous jungle hikes with panoramic views of the pacific ocean and observe the variety of wild flora and fauna found only in the Mariana Islands.

Saipan’s locals are Chamorro and Carolinian speaking their own languages but English is still spoken as the main language. Germany briefly ruled Saipan from 1899 -1914 then taken over by the Japanese in 1914. The U.S marines ……June 15, 1944 during WW II and spent 3 weeks fighting the famous “Battle of Saipan” to win the Island from the Japanese. Other nationalities that reside on the Island are from the U.S, Japan, Philippines, Korea, China and Russia.
Saipan has lots of public and private schools and federal aid is provided for the public school system, healthcare and infrastructure.
The CNMI government does not impose a tax on real estate at this time which makes investing in the CNMI attractive for anyone relocating to the Islands.
